#72 Breakfast with Aga – crazy weather, upcoming birthday and more

The past week

Not many things happened, to be honest. Everything went by rather calmly and I’ll talk more about what’s happening with me on Wednesday in my three and four week post-op update because I want to tell you about something specific.

.

On Saturday three of my friends took me to a huge farmers market that I told you about a while ago. I bought a lot of things and I noticed that the difference in prices between that place and grocery stores is so big that I want to convince Nathan to visit it more often because it’s worth it. And they have some things that I didn’t see before which is awesome because it’s always an opportunity to try some new exotic fruit.

I bought two dragonfruits. I haven’t seen them in any stores for a while now (only frozen) and the farmers market had them, obviously. So far I had the ones that were red inside only and they taste a little bit like beets. The ones I bought yesterday are supposed to be white inside and I’m curious if there’s a difference in taste. Anyways, I recommend to try!

I’m tired of the weather we have here. It’s 21 degrees Celsius and then the next day 10 degrees and rain. Then again 25 and next one 10 again and rain. It annoys me because not only I don’t know what to wear and what to expect but temperature swings like this don’t work good for me. I can’t wait for the real spring! People make jokes that winter this year was so mild that we’ll probably be surprised with snow in March. But neeeh, March will be nice.

.

I sent birthday invitations for April’s party! I’m very happy with the way they look so I’ll show you a photo. Awesome, huh? And by the way, recently April learned to say “m” so now she keeps repeating “mamamama” and I get excited every time she looks at me and says “mama” even though it probably still doesn’t mean anything. But it’s awesome anyway! And Alicia told me like million times already that her first word was “eye”. She literally pointed on her eye with her finger and said “eye” :).

One of the pictures I took then – my favorite.

.

Since we’re trying to live as natural as we can, as you already know, I bought new toothbrushes! I decided to replace some other things too but I’ll write a different post about it… Yes, I think this is what I’ll do because it’d be too much for here right now.

.

Others from last week…

She was caught red handed and she smiled. Recently she’s been liking opening cabinets and drawers and taking things out. Then when she’s done with playing she usually closes the cabinets and goes away. Too bad she doesn’t clean all that ;).

Pineapple, watermelon and strawberry – I had to buy these socks!

On the Internet

Disco Polo is one of the music genre in Poland that everybody knows but nobody admits it ;). In the video you can hear its version in beatbox.

A year ago I wrote a post that some people asked me for and that had to be here at that point of my life. The problem was that most of what I then thought was healthy I now think is useless or even harmful in some cases. So I now wonder about adding some kind of an update out there… I’ll see and I’ll let you know.
