#Breakfast with Aga – Alicia’s performance, clothes for April, a great movie to recommend and more

Last week

I tried to find a calendar for 2017 because the one I have now I don’t like. There’s not enough room and there are a few things missing too. I went to a few bookstores and shops and I bought something in each place but I never found a calendar. Of course, there are tons of them everywhere but I didn’t like anything! So I got annoyed, bought a notebook and decided to make my own calendar. This is my plan for today so keep your fingers crossed that it’ll work.

Alicia goes to drama class and she had her first performance! The whole idea for it was several scenes and each kid was a main character in each one of them. I mean, each student could choose their own character and with a help of their teacher they made up scenes. I think it’s a very cool thing because they can get creative and they’re happier but on the other hand everything took almost 3 hours and, let me tell you, not only me and Nathan had enough but other parents too. Also, there was so much confusion that kids often didn’t know what to do anymore, where to go and who’s next. And the teacher wasn’t too organized which makes me wonder how they made it work lol In general I hope that next time they’ll have something more concrete that will last shorter than 3 hours. Anyway, it was awesome to watch Alicia! I’m adding three photos below but I covered other kids’ faces just in case because I didn’t ask if I could publish them and, you know, better safe than sorry.

Every time I write a post on Monday I always forget to tell you about what I found for April in my favorite place! Since she’s obviously still growing and most of her shirts and pants she wore so far are too small, I bought her some more for 12-18 months. Below I’m adding what I found in Once upon a child which is a store with used kids clothes where I sometimes sell old ones too and I bought all that during their promo -90%. Since most of the things there cost $1-2 after the promo is applied I paid in cents and clothes are really good quality and some of them have original tags. Me and Nathan went there that day at noon and the line was so long that we didn’t want to wait and we went back in the evening before they closed. All of the things you see below cost $5 :). I also bought two shirts for Alicia that cost $2.50 but I decided that I prefer to take Alicia shopping instead of buying things for her by myself because even though I usually buy things she likes, there are times that she doesn’t like something and I don’t want to waste money.

One day someone knocked on my door so I opened it and saw a delivery man with flowers. He said that he didn’t know how to pronounce a name of a person who the flowers were for and so I was like okaaay, so it’s for me :D. They’re beautiful and smelled awesome! I read a little letter and turned out it was from Nathan’s coworkers with wishes for me to get better soon. I loved it!

Some more photos from last week…

Valentine’s Day is coming!

And I bought flowers for myself too :). I love flowers but when I have potted flowers they ALWAYS die.

This is what I saw after I got back home! Like I said on Instagram, I think she run out of battery.

Poor quality (it’s snapchat) but since I put my makeup on this time I had to take a picture!

She had a lot of fun! :))

Before I said that February is the coldest month of the year. Well, this time the weather is pretty cool.

To watch

I convinced Nathan to watch a movie. Before we used to do it at least once a week, we’d sit on the couch and watch something but after April was born everything changed and I miss it. We watched “The Age of Adaline”. It’s a movie about a girl who was born at the beginning of XX century and who had a car accident at a young age. It caused her to stop aging which gave her a lot of problems later on. It all might sound strange but I really like this movie and Nathan thought the same which is a success because he usually doesn’t like movies like that. And also, I cried at the end but I cry on each movie I watch so I don’t know if it’s a right sign that the movie is good or not ;).

Song of the week

One more song from Meghan Trainor! I really like it and I like the video more than the song because it’s so colorful and positive. I like style like this!
