#63 Breakfast with Aga – Moroccan restaurant and a little bit about living in the USA

In the last week

I’m so busy that I lost track of time a few times. For example, I had an appointment with my hairdresser at 1:45 pm and I remembered that and I even had a notification in my phone that showed up an hour before and I left from home at… 1:45 pm.  I got it all mixed up and I was sure that I had to leave at 1:45 so I was 20 minutes late. I called and fortunately turned out that my hairdresser was late anyways so I didn’t have to wait when I got there. And I cut my hair! Last time when I went there to trim it I told her that I was growing it but for a while now I’ve been thinking about cutting and I finally did it. I needed some change, you know? Not only if it comes to the way I look but also my mental health. It might sound weird but I feel better and this is what I wanted!

Look what I made to eat for myself! Lettuce wraps :). Stuffed with red pepper, cucumber, tomato, avocado and sauce made from blended zucchini, sun dried tomatoes and lemon juice which was my invention… not too complicated. Yummy!

Me and Nathan went to a Christmas dinner organized by his bosses where they invite employees and their partners. This time we met at a Moroccan restaurant in Atlanta owned by Moroccans. It was really cool, different! Much more relaxing because this time we didn’t have to look super nice, there was no white shiny plates and solemn atmosphere. But we had, like they like to say, a “real Moroccan experience” which meant that, for example, a waiter came with an empty bowl and with a kettle with warm water and lemon and he came up to each table asking that… everyone washes their hands in that water. We put our hands to the bowl all together and washed them. It was all because then they brought huge plates with salads and we were supposed to eat them by hands! During the dinner a belly dancer came a few times to show what she can do. I liked the whole thing, really. It was awesome that they had so much fresh fruits, although me and Nate tried some cooked eggplant and beets too.

See my short hair?! @trishelle6382 gave me a #haircut I’m very happy with! ✂ 👌

I had a few more tests like for example a pelvis ultrasound. I also saw a different genetic counselor who will take care of all my tests that I’ll need and so on. I finally have someone like this! I really needed this help because I can keep track of dates and stuff but I can’t order MRIs and other things by myself.
