Today this part will look a little different because I want to show you how some people decorated their houses me, Nathan and Alicia visited. I’ll post a lot of pics. Too bad everything in the photos looks more… flat. But well, you’d have to see it live. Places we visited are pretty popular and they have a lot of visitors. Some of them even had special paths for cars so, you know, drive thru :). I posted videos as well because some of the houses had music as well.
It’s our subdivision, Tyrone, GA. In my opinion it’s nothing special but the thing is that each Christmas and each Halloween they have more and more lights! And nobody else is competing or anything so I don’t know who they’re trying to fight. I’m really curious what they’ll have next year because this time it was just too much for my eyes.
Peachtree City, GA
28 weeks pregnant
Baby: weights over 1 kg (2.2 lbs) and is around 36-38 cm (14.17 – 15 in) long. Her brain becomes corrugated and furrows are forming. Her hair and nails are growing but here each baby is different and some of them are born with a lot of hair when other ones completely bold. Her reproductive organs are developed. There’s less and less room in a womb for her to move.
How I feel? No changes.
Weight? 70.9 kg (156.3 lbs) which is 0.6 kg (1.3 lbs) more than last week.
Food? No changes here either, I’m hungry almost all the time but meals I eat are smaller and I don’t really have much room. So I eat more often but smaller each time. I still love oranges and lately I’ve been craving some cake. You know, nicely soaked, sweet but not too sweet, with some fruit… Ohh.
Baby bump? I have this impression that it’s bigger each day ;).
Sleeping? I don’t feel very comfortable, to be honest. And I wake up 3-4 times at night so I don’t sleep very well and I started to go to bed around 9:45-10PM when normally it was too early.
Mood swings? I’m fine, I think.
The best moment of the week? The fact that Nathan and his brother Alan painted the baby’s room ;).
Other symptoms? The same – back and ribs pains.
Anything else worth writing down? I had a 3D/4D scan I told you about last time and it was sooooo cool to look at her this way! Her changing face expressions, kicks, arms’ movements, etc. She yawned a little, showed us one finger as if she wanted to say “give me one minute!”, she sucked on her hand… I’ll show you some pictures :). At this point the baby looks exactly the way she’ll look at her birth, only she’s still smaller and skinnier than she’ll be.
(Cost was $145 with a discount, the original price is $165. The whole thing lasted around 30 minutes. We got a bunch of printed pictures and a CD with them, baby announcement, a bag with things that we might use later, some coupons and leaflets.)
Talk to you next time!
